How would you like for property owners to develop their property in the future? In a compact way or a decentralized way?
A compact development pattern includes a mix of uses at higher densities (think of the Village Center with residential and non-residential where you can live, work, and play all in the same general location). A decentralized development pattern favors single-use, low density development in an area that is generally isolated (think of the Lake Pinehurst neighborhood or Pinewild Country Club).
How would you like for property owners to develop their property in the future? In a compact way or a decentralized way? Saying “neither” isn’t an option because property owners have a legal right to develop their property, so choose one or the other: decentralized or compact.
